Receptor ukusa tip 2 član 50 je protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran TAS2R50 genom.[1][2][3][4]
TAS2R50 pripada velikoj familiji TAS2R receptora. TAS2R receptori su izraženi na površini ćelija ukusa i posreduju percepciju gorkog ukusa putem G protein spregnutog puta sekundarnih glasnika (Conte et al., 2002).[4]
