Receptor trombocit aktivirajućeg faktora je G-protein spregnuti receptor koji vezuje trombocit-aktivirajući faktor.[1][2]

PAF receptor manifestuje strukturne karakteristike gena rodopsinske (MIM 180380) familije i vezuje trombocit-aktivirajući faktor (PAF). PAF je fosfolipid (1-0-alkil-2-acetil-sn-glicero-3-fosforilholin) za koji se smatra da posreduje niz patoloških procesa, kao što su alergija, astma, septički šok, arterijska tromboza, i inflamatorni procesi.[3]
