Receptor 1 vaskularnog endotelnog faktora rasta je protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran FLT1 genom.[1]
Onkogen FLT pripada src genskoj familiji i srodan je onkogenu ROS (MIM 165020). Poput drugih članova ove familije, on no je tirozinska proteinska kinaza koja učestvuje u kontroli ćelijske proliferacije i diferencije. Sekvenca FLT gena podseća na FMS gen (MIM 164770) i stoga su Yoshida et al. (1987) predložili ime FLT kao akronim za FMS-sličnu tirozinsku kinazu.[[2]
FLT1 formira interakscije sa PLCG1[3] i vaskularnim endotelnim faktorom rasta.[4][5]
