Serin/treoninska proteinska kinaza LMTK1 (takođe poznata kao tirozinska kinaza asocirana sa apoptozom) je enzim koji je kod ljudi kodiran (AATK) genom.[1][2][3]
Ovaj gen je identifikovan 1998. On je lociran na hromozomu 17 (17q25.3) i izražava se u pankreasu, bubrezima, mozgu i plućima. Protein se sastoji od 1.207 aminokiselina.[1][2]
Ovaj protein se sastoji od tirozinskog kinaznog domena na N-terminusnom kraju i prolinom bogatog domena na C-terminusnom kraju. Studije mišjeg homoga indiciraju da je on verovatno neophodan za indukciju zaustavljanja rasta i/ili apoptozu mijeloidnih prekursornih ćelija. On takođe učestvuje u indukciji diferencijacije u neuronskim ćelijama.[4][3] Nedavno je objavljeno da ima supresivnu ulogu u razvoju melanoma.[5]
Smatra se da AATK indirektno inhibira SPAK/WNK4 aktivaciju Na-K-Cl kotransportera.[6]
