Adolf Otto Reinhold Windaus (25. decembar 1876 – 9. jun 1959) bio je njemački kemičar najpoznatiji po tome što je godine 1928. osvojio Nobelovu nagradu za kemiju u znak priznanja za istraživanje sterola i njihovog odnosa s vitaminima. Bio je mentor Adolfu Butenandtu koji će 1939. i sam dobiti Nobelovu nagradu za kemiju.
