Neal Town Stephenson (31.10. 1959.-) je američki pisac, najpoznatiji po naučno-fantastičnim djelima koja pripadaju postcyberpunk podžanru, a koja istražuju probleme vezane uz društvo, matematiku, valute i historiju nauke. Također piše članke na temu tehnologije za časopise kao Wired Magazine, te je povremeno radio kao savjetnik Blue Origina, kompanije (koju je osnovao Jeff Bezos) a koja nastoji ostvariti sub-orbitalni sistem lansiranja.
