Don DeLillo (20.11. 1936.) je američki pisac najpoznatiji po romanima koji daju detaljnu sliku života u Americi krajem 20. i na početku 21. vijeka. Trenutno živi u okolici New Yorka.
Don DeLillo rodio se u Bronxu kao dijete italijanskih imigranata. Pisanjem se nije bavio sve dok nije upisao Univerzitet Fordham, a preko ljeta počeo raditi kao čuvar parkirališta. Pisanje mu je bio jedini način da prekrati dosadu, a nakon diplome je radio u reklamnoj agenciji.
Svoj prvi roman pod nazivom Americana je objavio 1971. godine. Četiri godine kasnije se oženio za Barbaru Bennett, dizajnericu dvorišta. S njom je neko vrijeme živio u Grčkoj. Široj je javnosti postao poznat hvaljenim romanom White Noise, a godine 1997. mu je izašao Underworld koji se smatra njegovim najpoznatijim djelom. Njegov posljednji roman, Falling Man, posvećen je napadima 11. septembra.

Game 6, priča o dramatičaru (igra ga Michael Keaton) i njegovoj opsesiji s Boston Red Soxima i World Seriesom 1986. godine, napisana je ranih 1990-ih, ali je izvedena tek 2005, točno godinu dana kada su Red Sox osvojili prvu titulu World Seriesa u 86 godina. To je dosada jedina ekranizacija nekog DeLillovog djela.
