Protein N-acetilglukozaminiltransferaza (EC 2.4.1.94, uridin difosfoacetilglukozamin-protein acetilglukozaminiltransferaza, uridin difosfo-N-acetilglukozamin:polipeptid beta-N-acetilglukozaminiltransferaza, N-acetilglukozaminiltransferaza I) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom UDP-N-acetil-D-glukozamin:(protein)-L-asparagin beta-N-acetil-D-glukozaminil-transferaza.[1][2][3] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- UDP-N-acetil-D-glukozamin + [protein]-L-asparagin UDP + [protein]-N4-(N-acetil-D-glukozaminil)-L-asparagin
Akceptor je asparaginski ostatak u sequenci oblika Asn-Xaa-Thr or Asn-Xaa-Ser.
