Protein-S-izoprenilcistein O-metiltransferaza (EC 2.1.1.100, farnezil cistein C-terminalna metiltransferaza, farnezil-proteinska karboksimetiltransferaza, protein C-terminal farnezilcisteinska O-metiltransferaza, farnezilated protein C-terminalna O-metiltransferaza, izoprenilaciona proteinska metiltransferaza, prenilaciona proteinska metiltransferaza, protein S-farnezilcistein C-terminalna metiltransferaza, S-farnezilcisteinska metiltransferaza, prenilcisteinska karboksilmetiltransferaza, prenilcisteinska karboksimetiltransferaza, prenilcisteinska metiltransferaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom S-adenozil-L-metionin:protein-C-terminal-S-farnezil-L-cistein O-metiltransferaza.[1][2][3] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- S-adenozil-L-metionin + protein C-terminalni S-farnezil-L-cistein S-adenozil-L-homocistein + protein C-terminalni S-farnezil-L-cistein metil estar
C-terminalni S-geranilgeranilcistein i S-geranilcistein ostaci se takođe metilišu, mada sporije.
