Prepilinska peptidaza (EC 3.4.23.43) je enzim.[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- Tipično dolazi do razlaganja -Gly-Phe- veze čime se oslobađa N-terminalni, bazni peptid sa 5-8 ostataka sa tipa IV prepilina, i zatim se N-metiliše nova N-terminal amino grupa, pri čemu je metilni donor S-adenozil-L-metionin
Ovaj enzim je prisutan u mnogim vrstama bakterije Carry pili.
