Ethel Merman (16. januar 1908 – 15. februar 1984) bila je američka glumica i pjevačica, najpoznatija po snažnom glasu i ulogama u popularnim brodvejskim mjuziklima. Među pjesmama koje je pjevala se ističu "I Got Rhythm", "Everything's Coming Up Roses", "Some People", "Rose's Turn", "I Get a Kick Out of You", "It's De-Lovely", "Friendship", "You're the Top", "Anything Goes" i "There's No Business Like Show Business", koja je kasnije postala njen "zaštitni znak". Poznata je i po tome što je 1970-ih svoje najveće hitove snimila u disco verziji.
Godine 1953. je za nastup u filmu Call Me Madam nagrađena Zlatni globus za najbolju glumicu u komediji ili mjuziklu.
