Nitronat monooksigenaza (EC 1.13.12.16, NMO) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom nitronat:kiseonik 2-oksidoreduktaza (formira nitrit).[1][2][3][4] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- etilnitronat + O2 acetaldehid + nitrit + drugi produkti
Enzimi iz gljiva Neurospora crassa i kvasca Williopsis saturnus var. mrakii sadrže nekovalentno vezani FMN kao kofaktor.
