Dezoksihipuzin monooksigenaza (EC 1.14.99.29, dezoksihipuzinska hidroksilaza, dezoksihipusinska dioksigenaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom dezoksihipuzin,vodonik-donor:kiseonik oksidoreduktaza (2-hidroksilacija).[1] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju:
- protein N6-(4-aminobutil)-L-lizin + AH2 + O2 protein N6-[(R)-4-amino-2-hidroksibutil]-L-lizin + A + H2O
Ovaj enzim katalizuje finalni korak formiranja aminokiseline hipuzina u eukariotskom inicijacionom faktoru 5A.
