Birnovodonična kiselina a,c-diamidna sintaza (glutamin-hidrolizujuća) (EC 6.3.5.9, CobB) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom kobirinovodonična kiselina:L-glutamin amido-ligaza (formira AMP).[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- 2 ATP + birnovodonična kiselina + 2 L-glutamin + 2H2O 2 ADP + 2 fosfat + birnovodonična kiselina a,c-diamid + 2 L-glutamat
Ova reakcija je deo aerobne biosinteze kobalamina.
