Alfa-galaktozidaza (EC 3.2.1.22, melibiaza, alfa-D-galaktozidaza, alfa-galaktozidaza A, alfa-galaktozidna galaktohidrolaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom alfa-D-galaktozid galaktohidrolaza.[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- hidroliza terminalnih, neredukujućih alfa-D-galaktoznih ostataka u alfa-D-galaktozidima, uključujući galaktozne oligosaharide, galaktomanane i galaktolipide
Ovaj ezim takođe hidrolizuje alfa-D-fukozide.
