(S)-kanadin sintaza (EC 1.14.21.5, (S)-tetrahidroberberinska sintaza, (S)-tetrahidrokolumbaminska oksidaza (formira metilindioksi-most)) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom (S)-tetrahidrokolumbamin,NADPH:kiseonik oksidoreduktaza (formira metilindioksi-most).[1] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- (S)-tetrahidrokolumbamin + NADPH + H+ + O2 (S)-kanadin + NADP+ + 2H2O
Ovaj hem-tiolatni enzim (P-450) katalizuje oksidativnu reakciju kojom se ne inkorporira kiseonik u produkt.
