Thermospermin sintaza (EC 2.5.1.79, TSPMS, ACL5, SAC51) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom S-adenozilmetioninamin:spermidin 3-aminopropiltransferaza (termospermin sinteza).[1][2][3] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- S-adenozilmetioninamin + spermidin S-metil-5'-tioadenozin + termospermin + H+
Ovaj enzim je neophodan za korektnu specifikaciju ksilema, što se ostvaruje putem regulacije životnog veka ksilemskih elemenata.
