Plazmepsin I (EC 3.4.23.38, aspartinska hemoglobinaza I, PFAPG, malarijska aspartinska hemoglobinaza) je enzim.[1][2][3] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- Hidroliza -Phe33-Leu- veze u alfa-lancu hemoglobina, što dovodi do denaturacije molekula
Ovaj enzim je pristan u malarijskom organizmu, Plasmodium.
