S-(hidroksimetil)mikotiol dehidrogenaza (EC 1.1.1.306, NAD/factor-zavisna formaldehidna dehidrogenaza, mikotiol-zavisna formaldehidna dehidrogenaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom S-(hidroksimetil)mikotiol:NAD+ oksidoreduktaza.[1][2][3][4] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- S-(hidroksimetil)mikotiol + NAD+ S-formilmikotiol + NADH + H+
Smatra se da se S-hidroksimetilmikotiol spontano formira iz formaldehida i mikotiola. Ovaj enzim oksiduje produkt te spontane reakcije do S-formilmikotiola, u reakciji koja je analogna sa dejstvom EC 1.1.1.284, S-(hidroksimetil)glutation dehidrogenaze.
