Muginenska kiselina 3-dioksigenaza (EC 1.14.11.25, IDS2) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom muginenska kiselina,2-oksoglutarat:kiseonik oksidoreduktaza (3-hidroksilacija).[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- (1) mugineinska kiselina + 2-oksoglutarat + O2 3-epihidroksimugineinska kiselina + sukcinat + CO2
- (2) 2'-dezoksimugineinska kiselina + 2-oksoglutarat + O2 3-epihidroksi-2'-dezoksimugineinska kiselina + sukcinat + CO2
Za rad ovog enzima je neophodan Fe2+ jon.
