L-metionin (S)-S-oksid reduktaza (EC 1.8.4.13, fSMsr, metil sulfoksid reduktaza I i II, acetilmetionin sulfoksidna reduktaza, metionin sulfoksidna reduktaza, L-metionin:oksidovani-tioredoksin S-oksidoreduktaza, metionin-S-oksidna reduktaza, free-metionin (S)-S-oksidna reduktaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom L-metionin:tioredoksin-disulfid S-oksidoreduktaza.[1][2][3][4] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- L-metionin + tioredoksin disulfid +H2O L-metionin (S)-S-oksid + tioredoksin
Za rad ovog enzima je neophodan NADPH. Reakcija se odvija u reverznom smeru.
