Karbazol 1,9a-dioksigenaza (EC 1.14.12.22, CARDO) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom 9H-karbazol,NAD(P)H:kiseonik oksidoreduktaza (2,3-hidroksilacija).[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- 9H-karbazol + NAD(P)H + H+ + O2 2'-aminobifenil-2,3-diol + NAD(P)+
Ovaj enzim katalizuje prvu reakciju degradacije karbazola.
