Farnezilcistein lijaza (EC 1.8.3.6, FC lijaza, FCLY) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom S-(2E,6E)-farnezil-L-cistein oksidaza.[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- S-(2E,6E)-farnezil-L-cistein + O2 +H2O (2E,6E)-farnesal + L-cistein +H2O2
Ovaj enzim je flavoprotein (FAD). U kontrastu sa sisarskim enzimom EC 1.8.3.5 (prenilcisteinskom oksidazom) farnezilcisteinska lijaza iz Arabidopsis je specifična za S-farnezil-L-cistein.
