Tetrahidroberberin oksidaza (EC 1.3.3.8, (S)-THB oksidaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom (S)-tetrahidroberberin:kiseonik oksidoreduktaza.[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- (S)-tetrahidroberberin + 2 O2 berberin + 2H2O2
Enzim iz Berberis sp. je flavoprotein, dok enzim iz Coptis japonica nije. (R)-tetrahidroberberini nisu supstrat ovog enzima.
