Sulkaton reduktaza (EC 1.1.1.260, sulkatonska reduktaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom sulkatol:NAD+ oksidoreduktaza.[1][2][3] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- sulkatol + NAD+ sulkaton + NADH + H+
Istraživanja uticaja stadijuma rasta i snabdevanja nutrijentima na stereohemiju sulkatonske redukcije kod Clostridia pasteurianum, C. tyrobutirnaum i Lactobacillus brevis sugeriraju da postoje najmanje dve sulkatonske reduktaze sa različitim stereospecifičnostima.
