Delta12-masna-kiselina desaturaza (EC 1.14.19.6, Delta12 masno kiselinska desaturaza, Delta12(omega6)-desaturaza, oleoil-KoA Delta12 desaturaza, Delta12 desaturaza, Delta12-desaturaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom acil-KoA,vodonik donor:kiseonik Delta12-oksidoreduktaza.[1][2][3][4] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju:
- acil-KoA + redukovani akceptor + O2 Delta12-acil-KoA + akceptor + 2H2O
U kvascu Lipomyces starkeyi i američkoj bubašvabi, ovaj mikrozomalni enzim konvertuje oleoil-KoA u linoleoil-KoA. Kod moljaca Cadra cautella i Spodoptera, on konvertuje (Z)-tetradek-9-enoinsku kiselinu (9Z,12E)-tetradeka-9,12-dienoinsku kiselinu, koja se redukuje i acetiluje čime se formira acetatni estar feromona.
