Singapurska luka

Singapurska luka (engleski: Port of Singapore; malajski: Pelabuhan Singapura; mandarinski: 新加坡港; tamilski: சிங்கப்பூர் துறைமுகம்) je skup objekata i terminala na kojima se odvija pomorska trgovina u Singapuru i koji nadziru singapursku lučku infrastrukturu i trgovinu. Od 2015. godine, Singapurska luka smatra se glavnim pomorskim centrom svijeta.[1] Trenutno je druga najfrekventnija luka u svijetu, a kroz nju na godišnjoj razini prođe petina svih kontejnera[2] i polovica svjetske opskrbe petrolejom te je najfrekventnija posrednička luka u svijetu. Također je bila najveća luka u svijetu po pitanju ukupne tonaže svih isporuka do 2010. godine, kada ju je prestigla Šangajska luka.
Zbog svog strateškog položaja, Singapur je barem dva stoljeća bio značajan entrepôt i trgovačka luka. U suvremenom dobu, singapurske luke bile su ne samo izvor ekonomskog napretka za Singapur, već ekonomska nužnost jer Singapur nema dovoljno kopnenih i prirodnih resursa. Luka je iznimno važna za uvoz prirodnih dobara te za ponovni transport dobara koja su na neki način rafinirana ili oblikovana u Singapuru, poput fabricirane vode ili rafinirane nafte, čime se proizvodima dodaje vrijednost. Također, Singapurska luka najveća je luka za punjenje goriva u svijetu. Velika većina brodova koji putuju između Indijskog i Tihog oceana prolaze kroz Singapurski prolaz. Džohorski prolaz na sjeveru neprohodan je za brodove zbog Džohorsko-singapurskog mosta, koji je izgrađen 1923. godine, koji je povezao singapursko naselje Woodlands s malezijskim gradom Johor Bahruom.
