(Fosfataza 2A protein)-leucin-karboksi metiltransferaza (EC 2.1.1.233, leucin karboksilna metiltransferaza-1, LCMT1) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom S-adenozil-L-metionin:(fosfataza 2A protein)-leucin O-metiltransferaza.[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- S-adenozil-L-metionin + [fosfataza 2A protein]-leucin S-adenozil-L-homocistein + [fosfataza 2A protein]-leucin metil estar
Ovaj enzim metiluje C-terminal leucin fosfataze 2A. On je ključni regulator proteinske fosfataze 2A. Metil estar hidrolizuje enzim EC 3.1.1.89 (proteinska fosfataza metilsteraza-1).
