S-adenozil-L-metionin + guanin748 u 23S rRNK S-adenozil-L-homocistein + N1-metilguanin748 u 23S rRNK

Ovaj enzim specifično metiliše guanin748 u N1 poziciji 23S rRNK. Metiltransferaza RlmAII pruža otpornost na makrolidni antibiotik tilozin u otpornoj vrsti bakterije Streptomyces fradiae.
