Eric Hilliard "Ricky" Nelson, kasnije poznat kao Rick Nelson (8. maj 1940 – 31. decembar 1985), bio je američki pjevač, muzičar i glumac. Odrastao je kao sin Ozzieja i Harriet Nelson te zajedno s njima i bratom Davidom 1950-ih nastupao u popularnoj TV-seriji The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet. Tamo je otkrio pjevački talent, koji ga je učinio tinejdžerskim idolom. Između 1957. i 1973. je s 53 pjesme bio na top-listi Billboard Hot 100, a od toga njih 19 među Top 10.[1]

U aprilu 1963. Nelson se oženio za Kristin Harmon, kći football zvijezde Toma Harmona i glumice Elyse Knox, odnosno sestru glumca Marka Harmona. S njome je imao dvoje djece - kći Tracy (25. oktobar 1963 - ), koja je glumica, blizance Gunnara i Matthewa (20. septembar 1967 -), poznate po bendu Nelson (bend)|Nelson, te sina Sama (29. august 1974 -).

31. decembra 1985. je Nelson zajedno sa još šest ljudi poginuo kada se za vrijeme turneje avion u kome je putovao srušio kraj De Kalba u Teksasu.
