23S rRNK (adenin1618-N6)-metiltransferaza (EC 2.1.1.181, metiltransferaza F velike podjedinice rRNK, YbiN protein, rlmF (gen), m6A1618 metiltransferaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom S-adenozil-L-metionin:23S rRNK (adenin1618-N6)-metiltransferaza.[1] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- S-adenozil-L-metionin + adenin1618 u 23S rRNK S-adenozil-L-homocistein + N6-metiladenin1618 u 23S rRNK
Rekombinantni YbiN protein ima sposobnost metilacije parcijalno deprotonisane 50 S ribozomalne podjedinice. On ne deluje na kompletno formirane 50 S podjednice, niti na kompletno deprotonisanu 23 S rRNK.
