Otvarač kalijum kanala je tip leka koji posreduje jonsku transmisiju kroz kalijumske kanale.

Primeri lekova iz ove grupe su:

  • Diazoksid[1] vazodilatator koji se koristi za tretman hipertenzije, i relaksaciju glatkih mišića
  • Minoksidil[2] vazodilator koji se koristi za hipertenziju, kao i za sprečavanje gubitka kose
  • Nikorandil[3] vazodilator koji se koristi za tretman angine
  • Pinacidil[4]
  • Retigabin,[5][6] antikonvulsant
  • Flupirtin, analgetik sa svojstvima mišićnog relaksanta i antikonvulsanta
