Metionin transaminaza (EC 2.6.1.88, metionin-okso-kiselinska transaminaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom L-metionin:2-okso-kiselina aminotransferaza.[1][2][3] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- L-metionin + 2-okso karboksilat 2-okso-4-metiltiobutanoat + L-aminokiselina
Ovaj enzim je najaktivniji sa L-metioninom.
