Katepsin L (EC 3.4.22.15, Aldrichina grahami cisteinska proteinaza) je enzim.[1][2][3][4] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- Slična reakcija sa reakcijom papaina. U poređenju sa katepsinom B, katepsin L je aktivniji na proteinskim supstratima, ali je manje aktivan na Z-Arg-Arg-NHMec
Ovaj lizozomalni enzim pripada peptidaznoj familoko C1 (papainskoj familiji).
