1-pirolidin dehidrogenaza (EC 1.5.1.35, gama-aminobutiraldehidna dehidrogenaza, ABALDH, YdcW) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom 1-pirolidin:NAD+ oksidoreduktaza.[1][2][3] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- 1-pirolidin + NAD+ + 2H2O 4-aminobutanoat + NADH + 2 H+
1-pirolidin se spontano formira iz 4-aminobutanala, posredstvom enzima EC 2.6.1.82, putrescin aminotransferaze. Ovaj enzim formira deo puta argininskog katabolizma.
