Magnezijum protoporfirin IX metiltransferaza (EC 2.1.1.11, Magnesium protoporphyrin IX methyltransferase) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom S-adenozil-L-metionin:magnezijum-protoporfirin-IX O-metiltransferaza.[1][2][3][4][5] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- S-adenozil-L-metionin + magnezijum protoporfirin IX S-adenozil-L-homocistein + magnezijum protoporfirin IX 13-metil estar
