Heparan-a-glukozaminid N-acetiltransferaza (EC 2.3.1.78, acetil-KoA:alfa-glucosaminide N-acetiltransferaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom acetil-KoA:heparan-alfa-D-glukozaminid N-acetiltransferaza.[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- acetil-KoA + heparan sulfate α-D-glukozaminid = KoA + heparan sulfat N-acetil-α-D-glukozaminid
Ovaj enzim acetilatiluje glukozaminske grupe heparan sulfata i heparina sa kojih je uklonjen sulfat. Takođe deluje na heparin.
