Sandwich je historijski gradić i civilna parohija (župa) smještena na jugoistoku Engleske, na obali rijeke Stour u nemetropolitanskom distriktu Dover, unutar ceremonijalne grofovije Kent. U njemu živi oko 6800 stanovnika.
U srednjem vijeku je imao važnu ulogu kao luka, te je bio jedna od tzv. Pet luka Cinque Ports); iz tog perioda su očuvane brojne zgrade, uključujući pubove, kapije, crkve, ubožnice i tzv. Bijeli mlin (White Mill). Lukom je prestao biti zbog nanosa mulja iz obližnje rijeke, koje su s vremenom obalu premjestile dvije milje od nekadašnjeg središta.[1]
U blizini grada se nalazi prirodni rezervat Sandwich Bay kao i dva cijenjena golf igrališta - Royal St George's i Prince's. U gradu se održavaju redovni obrazovni i kulturni događaji.
