Dartmouth College (Dartmutski koledž) je privatni, koedukacijski univerzitet[7] koji se nalazi u gradu Hanover u američkoj državi New Hampshire. Osnovan pod nazivom "Trustees of Dartmouth College,"[8][9] predstavlja člana Lige bršljana, odnosno jedan od devet kolonijalnih koledža osnovanih u SAD prije stjecanja nezavisnosti.[10] Osim što u njemu postoji diplomski studij iz slobodnih vještina, na Dartmouthu se nalazi medicinski, strojarski i ekonomski fakultet, kao i 19 fakulteta koje daju diplome iz raznih oblasti nauke i umjetnosti. S ukupno 5.848 studenata, Dartmouth je najmanja od svih škola Lige bršljana.[3]
Osnovan je godine 1769. od kongregacionalnog svećenika Eleazara Wheelocka sa sredstvima koje je uglavnom prikupao indijanski svećenik Samson Occom, a prvotna misija Koledža je bila da se domordačko stanovništvo Sjeverne Amerike odrekne svoje kulture i prihvati kršćanstvo. Nakon dugotrajnog perioda financijskih teškoća i političkih pritisaka, Dartmouth je od relativno nepoznate postao poznata škola početkom 20. vijeka.[11]
Dartmouth se nalazi na ruralnom zemljištu od 269 rali (1.1 km²) u oblasti Upper Valley u New Hampshireu. S obzirom da je Koledž izoliran, dosta studenata sudjeluje u sportskim programima i Grčke organizacije Dartmouth Collegea.[12] Dartmouth ima 34 sportska tima koji se u raznim sportovima natječu u konferenciji Lige bršljana u Diviziji I NCAA Division I. Studenti su također poznati po vjernosti drevnim tradicijama Koledža.[13][14][15][16]
