HycI peptidaza (EC 3.4.23.51, HycI, HycE procesujući protein) je enzim.[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- Ovaj enzim specifično uklanja 32 aminokiseline dug peptid sa C-terminusa prekurzora velike podjedinice hidrogenaze 3 u Escherichia coli presecanjem C-terminalnog mesta na Arg537.
Za ovu reakciju je neophodno da je nikal vezan za prekurzor velike podjedinice hidrogenaze 3.
