Sniman je u francuskom dvorcu Château d'Hérouville, a sadrži "Candle in the Wind", znamenitu pjesmu posvećenu Marilyn Monroe, kao i još tri velika hita - "Bennie and the Jets", "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" i "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting". Često se smatra njegovim najboljim i najpopularnijim albumom.
