Edmund Gosse

Sir Edmund William Gosse C.B. (21. septembar 1849 – 16. maj 1928) bio je engleski pjesnik, književnik i kritičar, odnosno sin Philipa Henryja Gossea i Emily Bowes.

Odrastao je u strogo kršćanskoj porodici, da bi se u mladosti počeo baviti poezijom i likovnom kritikom. Najpoznatije mu je djelo Father and Son, knjiga memoara u kojima je opisao svoj odnos s ocem.

• His book Father and Son partially inspired Oscar and Lucinda, a novel by Peter Carey which won the 1988 Booker Prize, and the 1989 Miles Franklin Award.
