Sir Edmund William Gosse C.B.[1] (21. septembar 1849 – 16. maj 1928) bio je engleski pjesnik, književnik i kritičar, odnosno sin Philipa Henryja Gossea i Emily Bowes.[2]
Odrastao je u strogo kršćanskoj porodici, da bi se u mladosti počeo baviti poezijom i likovnom kritikom. Najpoznatije mu je djelo Father and Son, knjiga memoara u kojima je opisao svoj odnos s ocem.
