William Surrey Hart (6. decembar 1864 - 23. jun 1946) bio je američki glumac, poznat kao jedna od prvih zvijezda filmskih vesterna.

Rođen u porodici anglo-irskih doseljenika, Hart je svoj glumački debi imao na pozornici 1888. godine, te je s vremenom, često putujući po SAD, izgradio reputaciju jednog od najuglednijih šekspirijanskih glumaca. Na film je došao velikim dijelom zahvaljujući svojoj fascinaciji Divljim zapadom, a 1914. godine je dobio svoj prvi angažman zahvaljujući Tomu Inceu. Tokom sljedeće decenije je snimio niz popularnih vestern-filmova, u kojima su njegovi likovi predstavljali oličenje časti i dostojanstva. Međutim, 1920-ih je izgubio popularnost u korist nešto mlađih i "grubljih" glumaca kao što je Tom Mix. Njegov posljednji pokušaj da sačuva karijeru je bio nijemi vestern-ep Tumbleweeds iz 1925. godine. Komercijalni podbačaj filma, za koji je krivio loš marketing studija United Artists, doveo je do sudskog spora koji je okončan tek 1940. godine. U međuvremenu se Hart povukao sa filma, snimivši tek 1939. godine zvučni prolog za Tumbleweeds.
