The Chordettes je bio američki ženski pjevački pop kvartet specijaliziran za a cappella muziku, a koji je djelovao od 1946. do 1961. Smatra se jednim od najdugovječnijih i najuspješnijih vokalnih sastava 1940-ih i 1950-ih.[1] Iako se smatra da su im aranžmani više dugovali The Andrews Sisters nego doo-wopu, za razliku od sličnih sastava su pokazali sposobnost za adaptaciju rock and roll eri.[1] Slavu su stekle sa velikim hitom "Mr. Sandman" iz 1954. godine, te su nastavile 1950-ih i ranih 1960-ih obradama rock i R&B pjesama.[1] Među njima je najveći hit bio "Lollipop" iz 1958. godine.[1]
