Karboksipeptidaza u (EC 3.4.17.20, argininska karboksipeptidaza, karboksipeptidaza R, plazmatična karboksipeptidaza B, trombinom aktivirani fibrinolizni inhibitor) je enzim.[1][2][3][4][5] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- Odvajanje C-terminalnog Arg i Lys sa polipeptida
Pro-karboksipeptidaza U se u (ljudskoj) plazmi aktivira trombinom ili plazminom tokom zgrušavanja, čime se formira nestabilna karboksipeptidaza U.
