Epi-izozizaen 5-monooksigenaza (EC 1.14.13.106, CYP170A1) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom (+)-epi-isozizaen,NADPH:kiseonik oksidoreduktaza (5-hidroksilacija).[1] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- (+)-epi-izozizaen + 2 NADPH + 2 H+ + 2 O2 albaflavenon + 2 NADP+ + 3H2O (sveukupna reakcija)
- (1a) (+)-epi-isozizaen + NADPH + H+ + O2 (5S)-albaflavenol + NADP+ +H2O
- (1b) (5S)-albaflavenol + NADPH + H+ + O2 albaflavenon + NADP+ + 2H2O
- (2a) (+)-epi-isozizaen + NADPH + H+ + O2 (5R)-albaflavenol + NADP+ +H2O
- (2b) (5R)-albaflavenol + NADPH + H+ + O2 albaflavenon + NADP+ + 2H2O
Ovaj enzim je citohrom-P450 enzim, iz zemljišnih bakterija Streptomyces coelicolor A3. On katalizuje dve sekvencijalne alilne oksidacione reakcije.
