Ektoinska sintaza (EC 4.2.1.108, N-acetildiaminobutirat dehidrataza, N-acetildiaminobutanoat dehidrataza, L-ektoin sintaza, EctC, 4-N-acetil-L-2,4-diaminobutanoat hidrolijaza (formira L-ektoin)) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom N4-acetil-L-2,4-diaminobutanoat hidrolijaza (formira L-ektoin).[1][2][3][4] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- N4-acetil-L-2,4-diaminobutanoat L-ektoin + H2O
Ovaj enzim učestvuje u biosintezi ektoina.
