Protein-L-izoaspartat(D-aspartat) O-metiltransferaza (EC 2.1.1.77, protein-L-izoaspartatna O-metiltransferaza, protein-beta-aspartatna O-metiltransferaza, D-aspartil/L-izoaspartilna metiltransferaza, L-izoaspartil/D-aspartil protein karboksilna metiltransferaza, proteinska (D-aspartat) metiltransferaza, protein D-aspartatna metiltransferaza, protein L-izoaspartatna metiltransferaza, protein L-izoaspartilna metiltransferaza, proteinska O-metiltransferaza (L-izoaspartat), L-aspartil/L-izoaspartil proteinska metiltransferaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom S-adenozil-L-metionin:protein-L-izoaspartat O-metiltransferaza.[1][2][3][4] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- S-adenozil-L-metionin + protein L-izoaspartat S-adenozil-L-homocistein + protein L-izoaspartat alfa-metil estar
D-aspartat ostatak unutar proteina takođe može da bude akceptor.
