DTDP-3-amino-3,4,6-tridezoksi-alfa-D-glukopiranoza N,N-dimetiltransferaza (EC 2.1.1.234, DesVI) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom S-adenozil-L-metionin:dTDP-3-amino-3,4,6-tridezoksi-alfa-D-glukopiranoza 3-N,N-dimetiltransferaza.[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- 2 S-adenozil-L-metionin + dTDP-3-amino-3,4,6-tridezoksi-alfa-D-glukopiranoza 2 S-adenozil-L-homocistein + dTDP-3-dimetilamino-3,4,6-tridezoksi-alfa-D-glukopiranoza
Ovaj enzim učestvuje u biosintezi desosamina, 3-(dimetilamino)-3,4,6-tridezoksiheksoze prisutne u pojedinim makrolidnim antibioticima kao što je ertiromicin, azitromicin, i klaritromicin.
