Royalle je počela nastupati u porno-filmovima 1975. godine, nakon što je studija plesa i glume. Hardcore ulogama se prestala baviti 1980. godine, ali je sudjelovala u produkciji i pisala scenarije za porno-filmove. Godine 1984. je osnovala Femme Productions, filmski studio specijaliziran za porno-filmove filmove namijenjen ženskoj publici.
